The rough schedule above will give you an idea of what traveling will be done. Please note that this is a very beautiful route to travel. This is a basic outline and this trip/tour is all about what you would like to do. There is no specific place you HAVE to go see from our side. When we arrive at a place, we can always look at the different options of what you can do and see and take it from there. If you want to rest the whole day, you can do that too. It's not a strict schedule at all.

A note on a few things:

  • Knysna is a beautiful little town. There are many "touristy" things to do there. If you would like to do a little research on your own you are welcome to.

  • Outdshoorn, as mentioned, has the Cango Caves. Have you heard of them? It's the one thing you do have to do at least once, if you are on the wine route. But if it's something you would really not be interested in doing, you don't have to and we just move on.

  • On Day 4, You'll wake up in Cape Town. You have the whole day. To fit a wine estate tour and Table Mountain in one day will be quite hectic, but it's up to you. If say, you would prefer to do one thing more than the other, we can do that. In between there'll be time to sight see and have lunch etc.

  • Day 5, you can do whatever you didn't do the day before.

There is really so much to do and many options. In the meantime, do a little research and you may see something that interests you and we can include it perhaps. As mentioned, there'll be plenty time to sight see in between the traveling and excursions, as well as shopping opportunities. This goes for the same with the hunt as well. Should you have a chance to see some of the area and should Addo Elephant Park or the Cheetah Ranch etc, be of interest to you, we will make a plan to take you. All you need to do is let your guide know at the beginning of the hunt. As you travel along, he will also show you places of interest. There will be no charge for this sort of thing. Also, remember that at the one ranch (as per the pics on our website), there are opportunities for game drives, if the ladies would prefer not to go hunting on a particular day and there is a beauty therapist available for treatments. There is TV and you will feel like you've been on holiday for 10 days after just being there for 2!

"If my continuing returns to hunt with Andrew Harvey is any indication of my degree of satisfaction, then Andrew deserves a 10+ in my book. From attention to detail, to communication (before, during and after the hunt), to the quality of animals, the preparation of trophies, to the quality of food, accommodations and staff, all things meet or exceed my expectations as a hunter, client and friend..."
